8 PM - Went to see Art Garfunkel. (with my father) at The Klein Memorial Auditorium. This was my first visit to Klein.
My first time I ever saw Art Garfunkel in person.
When I was 11, a friend of mine-Richard Crawford asked me if I wanted to go see 'Art Garfunkel and Paul Simon' in Concert in Central Park with his sister.
The year was Summer of 1981.
Looking back...on it I got sick from sailing, if I had not spent the whole day sailing across Long Is land Sound with Rich Crawford and and his father.
I would have gone to The Simon and Garfunkel concert in Central Park later that same evening.
However, I am very grateful, my father asked me last night to go to The Art Garfunkel concert tonight in Bridgeport., Connecticut. Art Garfunkel poem about his 3 year old son brought a smile and a laugh to my face.
After all these 28 years listening to him, on the radio, LPs, CDs, and with friends, it always so wonderful to hear and see a great music legend in person.
I am happy my father asked me to go. It was a very beautiful evening.
Art Garfunkel still has a great voice.
Even after 48 years. Art said, "I still get nervous."
Nice sense of humor.
And beautiful singing voice. Would hope to get to see him sing with Paul Simon again.
Art Garfunkel music still sounds good.
